Blessings Reader, An Outsiders Embodied Message Currently, I’m flying home from a conference for ministers we help host in southern Spain. These events have subtly changed every one of these first seven years living in France. It is so hard to be away. Away from all you grew up knowing. To be an immigrant is to be an outsider. To be a minister sent in faith, hope, and love is to embody a message. There have been days when my excitement and energy felt unstoppable. The newness of this work, the listening, the learning, and the adventure of journeying into something so different. Paris is now normal. I am flying home - to Paris. I’m tired, and sore. It’s so hard to be away. Being with peers, colleagues, and friends is now a balm to my weary soul. This is hard work that is mostly thankless. But giving and receiving grace, compassion, and understanding from them is sweet. It helps sustain me in the midst of being an outsider with a message. An outsider with a word from God of rest, of hope, and of being completely and perfectly known. Until Next Week From my LifeThe conference in Malaga went really well. My talk turned out really nicely. I'll be publishing it later this week, and it will be included in the next weeks newsletter. Thank you to those of you who prayed for us. There was a lot on our plate and our schedule was quite full. You're prayers helped sustain us. Unpublished Photo for this Edition

Deepening our Christianity the Monday Newsletter of Paul Prins Edition #33 · 17 June 2024 Blessings Reader, Faith is a Gift Our faith simply exists. It just, is. As a Christian, there are many things for me to do. I am to take up my cross and follow Jesus. I am to love, and to be gracious. Yet, the gift of faith has no expectations for me. Faith, for many of us, is the first invitation we accept from Jesus. We accept the gift that is given to us. This gift that is beyond description. We are...

Deepening our Christianity the Monday Tuesday Newsletter of Paul Prins Edition #31 · 4 June 2024 Blessings Reader, It has been nearly 3 months since the last newsletter. In that time, I have finished refining the Urban Monastic way of life, and we have been working hard on planning and promoting our very first Urban Monastic retreat. This has been a lot of writing, and I didn't feel I had the capacity to write this each week. Now with the 28 chapters of the rule off to be edited, I'm back!...
