Blessings Reader, Pentecost does not end the season of Eastertide. It transforms it. The resurrection and ascension of Jesus was exceptional. Yet, Jesus promised something more. That the Spirit of God would come to us. To fill us. That the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus would dwell within us. Pentecost invites us to the Christian life. It invites us to live like Jesus, and with Jesus. To carry within us that trinity of life, death, and resurrection. That we are cherished and loved by God. All we need to do is accept the grace of God given freely to us. Pentecost reminds us that we hold within ourselves the fullness of God. His tenderness, grace, and love. Jesus told the disciples they would do greater things than him, and He forgave his crucifiers. Oh, Father, help us to trust your spirit as you guide us away from power and self. May your kingdom of peace dwell within and through us more each day. Until Next Week From my LifeThanks for your grace last week when I did not send a newsletter. The role I have during the Cannes Film Festival is every day from at least 9am until 6pm. One day I worked from 9am until 2:30am. This doesn't leave me any capacity to write a reflection, nor to assemble this newsletter. It was a good festival - and I even got to see 7 films! I'm now sitting on the train ride back to Paris, headphones on, and very much enjoying a time of reflection. I often feel God's deep pleasure and joy when I write these. I hope may feel that when you read them. Could join me in prayer this week? Posted this Week Unpublished Photo of the Week

A Prayer for the Week to ComeLord help us to remember. To remember that the fullness of God dwells within us. To remember that we carry Easter within us. To remember that we can do more than you. Let us try to love deeper and wider than you. To forgive more. To give hope to others more. To live out of your same meekness and humility. Lord help us. |

Deepening our Christianity the Monday Newsletter of Paul Prins Edition #33 · 17 June 2024 Blessings Reader, Faith is a Gift Our faith simply exists. It just, is. As a Christian, there are many things for me to do. I am to take up my cross and follow Jesus. I am to love, and to be gracious. Yet, the gift of faith has no expectations for me. Faith, for many of us, is the first invitation we accept from Jesus. We accept the gift that is given to us. This gift that is beyond description. We are...

Deepening our Christianity the Monday Tuesday Newsletter of Paul Prins Edition #31 · 4 June 2024 Blessings Reader, It has been nearly 3 months since the last newsletter. In that time, I have finished refining the Urban Monastic way of life, and we have been working hard on planning and promoting our very first Urban Monastic retreat. This has been a lot of writing, and I didn't feel I had the capacity to write this each week. Now with the 28 chapters of the rule off to be edited, I'm back!...
